STAR Touring and Riding Association Chapter 303

General:  Chapter 303 is the Black Hills chapter of the STAR Trouring and Riding Association. We are a 507(c)3, family oriented, charity riding group that enjoys being together riding motorcycles and doing good for the comunity. We are open to all riders reguardless of motorcycle brand. We encourage you to check us out at a monthly meeting or ride and see what we have to offer. You will not regret taking a ride with STAR 303, WE GUARANTEE IT!!!!!

MISSION:  To pursue, promote, and protect the interests of motorcyclists; to develop better and more enthusiastic relations between the general public, the media, and the operators and riders of motorcycles; to encourage rider participation in events; to promote motorcycle safety and camaraderie amongst members; to promote organized events; and in general, perform them in a lawful manner.

HISTORY:  Founded May 23, 2006 as the Rapid City Chapter of STAR Touring and Riding and later evolved into the Black Hills Chapter. Current members Andy Babbs, Steve Dutton, Kayla Dutton, Jerome Button, and Judy Button are Rapid City charter members.

FORGOTTEN ELDERLY:  Each year members of STAR 303 in partnership with businesses and individuals from the Northern Black Hills area raise funds and accept donations for the Forgotten Eldery Program. These funds are used to help support the area's forgotten elderly in local assisted living center throughout the yearn and also support local veterans. Additionaly, angel trees are displayed in Novemeber to collect donated presents from the area's residents for delivery in December to help give the Forgotten Elderly a proper holiday.
